| 1978 |
Adrian Sween creates Apollo Corporation in Little Falls, Minn. |
| 1984 |
Apollo introduces its first bathing system, the Model 2000, which is the first senior care bathing system with a Rapid-Fill Reservoir to significantly reduce fill time. The trailblazing design is also the first to forego dangerous lifts to assist residents into and out of the bath tub, instead utilizing the Level Glide™ transfer system, a high rail device that slides the resident into the bath. The system offers three color options: Blue, Gray or Desert Sand.
Apollo patents its Port-a-Bath portable bathing system.

Apollo moves its headquarters from Little Falls, Minn., to its current location in Somerset, Wis. |
| 1993 |
Apollo introduces the Space Performer seated bathing system to replace the Model 2000. The Space Performer is designed to perform the same functions as the Model 2000, but has a smaller footprint that fits into smaller bathing areas. |
| 1996 |
Apollo’s Level Glide transfer system changes to low rail entry from its original high rail, with the stainless steel rails now integrated into the tub instead of along the top edges to provide greater immersion.
An internal cleaning and disinfecting system is added to the Space Performer, replacing the side-mounted system that was introduced in 1994.
Apollo creates Revolution™, its first supine bathing system, and the Power Trolley™ lift system. |

The Shield™ infection control panel is patented and introduced. |
| 1998 |
Apollo introduces the Remedy® ultraviolet germicidal disinfectant system, the first system to disinfect water during the bathing process. Apollo receives a patent on the technology and gains FDA approval as a Class II medical device. |
| 2000 |
Apollo enters the assisted living market with the Serenity™ step-in bathing system. |
| 2002 |
Apollo introduces a secondary drain near the door on its Space Performer systems to ensure residual water doesn’t reach the floor. |
| 2003 |
Apollo celebrates its 25th year of operation. |
| 2004 |
Apollo introduces its first Air Spa bathing system, the industry’s only forced air tub to incorporate an integrated cleaning system that cleans and disinfects the air lines to kill bacteria and prevent cross-contamination. |
| 2005 |
Apollo announces the first non-institutional looking bathing system with its Advantage™ seated system. Offering dozens of customizable color panels, Advantage creates a more residential feel that helps transform a bathing room into a home. |
